We already have a thread with like 40+ response already, but yes, good stuff, I’m shocked to see basically a complete Dark Ranger overhaul.

absolutely not a fan of 18 second barbed shot cooldown. i dont want to press cobra shot during aoe situations, especially when beast cleave only lasts 5 seconds already.

I haven’t tried the changes yet to see how good it is, but from reading the way the talents are laid out, the intent might be to use Cobra Shot (with the benefit of Serpentine Rhythm & Barbed Scales) to lower the CD on barbed shot.
Me either. Like, there’s a talent to reduce the CD by 2s by casting Cobra Shot so they increased the Barbed Shot CD from 12 to 18s? That’s a net nerf.
That does look a little alarming, but if we can pick up things that reset barbed it might be ok. 18 will be more effected by haste too, right? Maybe… 13 with decent haste?
Yes. And no. Damage buffed. Basilisk collar still needed for beast, boo. Dark ranger having better identity, yes. I feel better to know that someone is out there, but… The patch is well after season 1.
I think they are anticipating the gear buffs. They don’t want hunters just spamming shots blindly.

Thank you for posting the notes and a working link. This helps a lot. There is also a new talent calculator available on wowhead. I am glad they are buffing bm. I hope they expedite it for season 1.
