I'm hopeful that bgs will reduce the world ganking meta

But with such huge populations beyond even the private servers I’m starting to be more skeptical. I will give it a shot, but if it doesn’t help then I’m rerolling on a PVE server.

I realize most of my fond memories of world PvP came from tbc, specifically from the occasional small skirmishes between a handful of 70s in azeroth while everyone else was in outland. That nostalgia blinded me to the reality of what vanilla world PvP was.

I 100 percent regret rolling on a PVP server. I thought I did and I didn’t.

Glad you could admit that. Sadly for you I don’t believe bg’s will delete wpvp. It will still be a thing. People tired of facing the best geared premades will go out into the world and cause havoc. A lot of variables here. That’s what wpvp is though.

WPvP will still happen Expect the below WSG areas to be heavily camped and battled.

The Alliance entrance to Warsong Gulch is in Silverwing Grove in Ashenvale Forest, and the Horde entrance is near Mor’shan Base Camp in the northern Barrens

You mention TBC WPvP and it has nothing to do with Isle of Quel Danas?:face_with_raised_eyebrow::face_with_raised_eyebrow::face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Bgs will reduce wpvp greatly because the amount of honor you get from a BG is significantly higher than wpvp. Wpvp is just a warm-up for alot of people.

Hahaha I actually never really cared for isle PvP, I just went there to bang out my dailies and leave. I was also on Azshara which was a low population server so it wasn’t super busy there anyway. Honestly that’s probably why I have such fond memories of world PvP, being on a low pop server meant we didn’t really run into others that often.

If the queue times for horde are long enough, then everyone in queue will camp FPs while waiting for it to pop.

BGs being in the game hasnt kept some pservers from losing an entire faction because they ignored faction imbal for too long.
