i like it. i like lfr. i like how convenient it feels to que-up for a zergfest of a raid.
now, i’m not a smart cookie, i just know i like how simple lfr is. repeatedly dying on a boss cause nobody knows the mechanics? i don’t mind it. gettin in there and seeing a wave of crazies all charging-down a boss, only to take’em down like a swarm of piranhas, or die to big aoes? i enjoy it.
…that’s all i got. hope you all have a good evening/morning.

This is why LFR isn’t raiding…
Mechanics matter, that tactic won’t get far in heroic, or normal for that matter.

You have to respect mechanics in LFR, though. I’ve had some nightmare LFRs where if people ignore the mechanics groups just die. A lot.
It’s not hardcore raiding, but it’s still raiding.

yep, and it’s a blast. silly and stupid at times, but generally a fun time (if you go into it with the right attitude).

I love running my alts through as I’m not going to do normal + on them and at most maybe a low key here or there on them. Mechanics matter quite a bit, they’re just slightly tuned down for the most part, or allow slightly more time to correct.

Only the real heavy hitters. Most are pretty ignorable if you’re just in WQ gear.
I find LFR extremely frustrating. I rarely do it. Only if I need to complete a quest or something. Other than that I avoid it at all costs. I’ve seen some of the most toxic behavior in LFR.
I like it. I queue, practice getting better each run, don’t have to talk, don’t have to join a discord.

Idk i have tanked the boss and the other tanks just never taunt which would cause a wipe in higher difficulties.
Plus they neuter boss mechanics hard in lfr, anduin dosent even have a down phase man. A core mechanic of the boss fight just dosent exist.
That’s the point. It’s the raid with 1 or 2 mechanics, designed so you can eat pizza with one hand and watch TV, while occasionally looking over to do something on the game.
LFR difficulty was designed for the 1%, just not the 1% you usually hear about.
Ye ik just to me lfr is less so raiding and more soo just a tutorial mode.
I like looking for raid as well. I think it’s fun to go in there and see a boss and its mechanics, try different specs or roles, and just enjoy the story.

Honestly they should make normal raids also queueable like LFR, normal is a complete joke anyways but it can be tedious sitting there trying to join or create a group. Bring the convenience to your playerbase and make normal raiding and mythic 0 dungeons queueable in group finder like LFR.

People forget that just because its a MMORPG or they been playing for decades it doesn’t mean the game can’t be fun. Many see LFR as a fun time, a time to enjoy the game in a scene otherwise meant for higher skilled players. The rewards aren’t great but that doesn’t matter if you’re enjoying yourself. This is your time here on planet earth and you chose to enjoy some of that time in LFR. However critics and haters alike can’t accept the fact that you as a player paid $15 to have fun in a video game that has no merit or benefits in the real world, as well as doesn’t affect their normal or higher raid game play that you are having fun in content not relevant to them.
This is cruelty and toxicity. Who cares if Random player 3004 named Kneebuster is having fun in content Random player 20042 doesn’t touch because its below them. But here we are in reality where you are torn down for enjoying something that others can’t agree with when it doesn’t affect them in the slightest.

Looking for raid isn’t raiding.
Got it.
I’m gonna be honest, I like LFR as well - insomuch as I think it’s a great learning tool. Whenever a new raid drops, I’ll try to run all the bosses on LFR to get the gist of each encounter down since usually the difference between LFR and normal are minimal.
Just like how normal is used to teach heroic, generally speaking, LFR can be used to teach normal. Unfortunately, not many players see this logic and rather just try to boss rush the game’s “easy mode”.
