I just can’t decide whether to make an ugly dwarf, or an ugly human (female for both).
Dwarves are ugly and way too masculine as a female, so they’re not really cute, but they’re short, and I like the really long, floppy braids – though said braids clip with legit everything.
Humans are prettier, can even make the face cute, but the body is all misproportioned, with tiny hands, giant legs, and too long arms. That said, the transmog I’m using rn (the coat from BFA timewalking and pirate boots) hides a lot of the poor modeling.
Both races have horrendous running animations, both races have a boring VO, both races have bad combat animations (though I like the shield stance for human female).
I like the helpful spell cast for dwarf female better (hands to side while charging, then she like throws it over her head), I like the offensive spell cast (light of dawn) better for human female.
Which would you go with? And don’t suggest draenei because I can’t stand the hooves / horns.
In ancient history it was easy, because most male versions of these races have great animations. Male BE was what I mostly played back in the day, for example. No complaints at all. But I like playing females now, and making my character cute.
