im really glad that pet battling using specific pets in hopes the AI simply uses incorrect spells and having it 100% luck based is back. Nothing like taking a dead mechanic system nobody cares about and shoe horning it into places where understanding lore and figuring out hidden things is key, and then going 180 against all of it. another win for whoever thought this up
…what?
are you mad they incorporated pet battles into the anniversary stuff? (not saying thats bad since it is a niche activity that not everyone likes)
OP is upset that you have to get lucky with their attacks in order to beat it. If the RNG goes the other way, then you’re out of luck.
I simply copied the strat directly out of the Wowhead article. First attempt failed, but won on the second attempt.
You know… I see names of people who mocked mythic raiders saying that they should be forced to do content that doesn’t appeal to them in the past.
Now for this fel cycle for this one moment in time…we are brothers.
Is this how I sound when I’m asked to group up for things?
Yeah, some people have said it’s taking them a few tries before RNG favors them with the strats.
Yea, the harder pet battles are always a bit RNG. But they’re the minority. The vast majority of battle pet content follows a predesignated formula, so it’s usually really easy to do.
Least we’re not fighting Landorus Therian
Look I got beef with that pokemon. It was EVERYWHERE in Sword / Shield online
As someone who battles pets regularly, this happens on existing trainers and open world pets all the time. RNG is RNG. Then again, bad is bad. So anyone who is struggling with a pet battle for one of the most challenging mounts (to get) in the game should probably just keep adjusting their strat til they win… like I did.
