Except you will only be able to do all of the heroics once, and then you’ll be locked out. so you actually wont be doing 50 heroics.
You are making up mechanics that blizzard wont use. Honestly if they limited heroics to one per day even with random queue, id care a lot less about it, but that isnt what all of these threads are asking for.
Honestly, the biggest place RDF is needed is in OLD content. Literally it takes you longer to get to the dungeons than to run them. I avoided BFD, Mara, and SM because it was faster to just quest than to travel there, and run the dungeon.
Yes, actually. No one of our community of people advocating for the tool are asking to NOT be locked out. Just wanted to clarify that. And you can’t find a single post of one of us saying that we want infinite heroics with no lockout.
And you’re saying “blizzard wont use”
Why wouldn’t they? Do you honestly think they would allow people to run unlimited heroics…?
tbh, i dont think anyone in the community has even though about it. People aren’t likely to run more than 10 heroics in a day anyways. Some will, but I think most wont.
They allowed it in ICC and plenty of people cried about it back then, I dont see why they wouldnt. The impact is still the same, you arent capped on badges, new players can get geared up much faster.
Yeah, and it wasn’t a good feature. That’s the thing about the tool that no one agrees with. And it can be easily tweaked to lock you out from the heroics you’ve already done.
It was released during the expansion when it didn’t matter if you smashed unlimited dungeons. I would totally agree with a lock out, and especially if they plan on scaling them to make them relevant through the entire expansion.
Exactly. Which they said they were planning on doing. And they also mentioned “extra rewards”
If i recall, the RDF was only released later in the expansion because they didn’t have it ready at the start (like guild banks in TBC). What their plans were if wrath got shipped with RDF no one knows.
Yeah they were still working on it because they wanted to get it rolled out to support cross-realm and have it choose from YOUR realm before it resorted to doing so. But it was originally supposed to be in at release. It just wasn’t ready yet.
Honestly, i wouldn’t mind if they rolled out a server only one on servers with X populations. On low pop servers have it look at the server for a while, then fall back on other servers to pop the dungeon.
Best reasoning in support of LFD ever. thank you
People also cried about blood elves. Back then, Blizzard cared, and they ignored the vocal minority.
Modern Blizzard caters to them. And in both retail and in Classic, the playerbase suffers for it.
I cried about them butchering draenei lore after the reveal of TBC draenai. Blizzard generally dont listen to feedback.
No, they don’t. Draenei were a forgotten, tiny part of WC3, and it was adopted into the Broken. The retconned lore (which, really, was just an expansion) was an improvement.
Blizzard did care back then, though. They simply didn’t remember such a small detail and the overall impact was irrelevant.
Blood elves are the reason we have merc PvP and cross faction raiding imo.
Sargeras relation to the draenai/eredar is a pretty massive retcon that completely changed the nature of the race. From that point on I stopped caring about lore since blizzard saw fit to completely rewrite known history whenever they deemed it convenient
Literally none of these things would have changed with RDF.
You are literally making things up at this point. It’s pretty sad.
Self own, those are rare
