I do hope they take the beta forums suggestions to actually bump up the difficulty to make things in wrath less braindead. I much prefer the carrot over the stick when it comes to creating social interactions between players and would far sooner see it be out of necessity to get content done.
The irony here is that to be able to use the LFG channel you are forced to use their trash LFG tool.
The people who dont want RDF dont feel the need to go on the forums and be activists, they arenât using the forums.
Wait for it.

This isnât empirical evidence.

Give slew of reasons why polling and statistics arenât accurate

weak justifications that the majority of players donât want rdf but if it was in the majority of players would use rdfâŚ.

I have an idea! When the dungeon que pops you could RP and whisper everyone in the group if theyâd like to go do xx dungeon! Then you could teleport out and walk yourself there from where you were in the worldâŚ
Win/win
Of course not, theyâre getting what they want. Thereâs a smattering of people who are anti-RDF on the forums, and I think the ratio of pro- to anti-RDF is pretty consistent in game too.
Its pretty consistent no matter where you go. Anyhere you talk about the game pro rdf ratioâs anti rdf hard.

infact even standard methods of gathering said information are not factual according to those guys.
Curious that now classic crowd is so willing and open to take more changesâŚ
â#NoChangesâ only when it benefits my view or what did I miss?
Wow peoples still complains about this its been like four months since they say no.
The game is more fun as a healer with the RDF tool, thatâs the only reason why I used to heal dungeons back in the day. I would be decked out from raids then que up for dungeons for fun! Itâs quick, itâs easy, everyone benefits. I donât heal dungeons or dungeon in general in TBC because itâs just a pain.
Being social isnât actually a requirement for raiding though.
If the leaders/hosts/gm/whatever want their raiders to talk socially, then they can, but to do the content itself, being social isnât actually required. (Iâm saying social as in talking and building connections separate from callouts and raid comms.)
Before quitting SWP, half the raiders under me did not really interact with anyone else. There was pockets of friends, but everyone was there to kill things, not to chat.
Being social has never actually been a requirement to play the game, itâs just a concept the players created, accepted, and then forced upon everyone else.
Still here by the way.
I joined a mega server so I didnât have to worry about it. Never see the same people twice. If the âcommunutyâ cared about it, mega servers wouldnât exist!
The best thing about the new no-RDF dungeon finder system is that if someone declines to invite you to a dungeon you can report them for breaching The Social Contract and theyâll lose their account.
