Just tried doing a merc mode BG

we had 3 monk healers on my team

they were legit all 3 throwing.

i was a demon hunter and I was outhealing 2 of them lol

thats just nutty

i am so glad i went with horde

alliance are just so frikken toxic man.

feels good to be on the superior team with way more mature players XD

its almost like the alliance players just dont even try or something. idk… feels weird man… but im like 22% sure a demon hunter should never outheal a healer… could be wrong tho idk tbh ngl xd xd xd

Not sure if this is a serious thread or a pre-Sunday one but I don’t believe the whole “Horde are more mature” thing has been “a thing” since Vanilla when Chuck Norris, wiener and fart jokes were heard throughout Stormwind.

Back then, your mileage will vary. I started as Alliance (Dwarf Paladin, coincidentally) and I couldn’t stand it. I switched factions on the same server and it was a day/night difference. This seemed to balance itself out when TBC came out and so many of the actual kids rerolled Blood Elves. This was noticed by all the ones running around in Goku hair and dancing.

You are right, Barrens chat was there and something I just stopped reading after a time but I would take that over what I had before any day.

I tend to automatically disagree with blanket statements like these but I do have to admit, I did notice a lot more cult-like political ramblings when I played KT alliance in legion.

They’re probably all the same people who post “[insert political activist] Calmly DESTROYS [other political activist]” videos on YouTube.

dude…I had an ally toon on that server in WoD and that was the most toxic trade chat Ive ever seen. Not only was the content bad, it was just incredibly spammy…between shock value kiddies and gold farmer/carry spammers you just couldn’t leave trade on.

This is the 3rd time I’ve heard about KT Alliance. Did certain types of people congregate to a single server or something? Otherwise, that would be one hell of a coincidence.

Quite a few people follow popular streamers to servers, and that can certainly bring a boatload of toxicity to a server. Not sure if KT alliance has that issue, but anything Twitch influences becomes a cesspit fairly quickly.

Illidan has so much chinese gold spam that you need an addon to even read trade chat, and then its just English spammers.

Oh lord…

I personally never understood the appeal of watching other people play games unless they’re really really good and you wanted tips, but to just watch them for hours. I don’t get it. Yeah, there are those who some view as “eye candy” and it progresses from there. Example “KDWoW” :confused:

Me either, but I do watch occasionally while I’m doing trivial things like questing or dungeons. Most streamers don’t have the horrible fanbases, but the most popular streamers all appeal to the largest audience of Twitch: Kids below the age of 18. I think we all know what that entails when large amounts of that fanbase are congregated in one area.

KT alliance was a pvp/streamer hub in Cata although I assume most of the people that came during that time now reside on Tich horde.

I believe Asmongold plays KT alliance though. That may explain a lot.

I use a web browser addon where I can block videos and any video of him, by him or about is instantly blocked. I couldn’t search WoW without his stupid fake surprised face showing up in every query. Now, it’s been months since I saw anything of him.

Haha the most toxic heads I have ever seen is when a horde bg is getting GY camped. The populist fotm tools can’t figure out why the Alliance is taking their free stuff!

People still leave trade chat active? Any alt I make has trade chat turned off before killing their first mob
