Once again nothing has been done with Frost. At best we are getting re-introduced to a playstyle that no one even liked with Deathborne. Not too mention the fact that if you wanted to stay with a pure Frost class fantasy you’d basically have to go with Spellslinger for that to work… Which I’m not sure anyone even likes.
I get that both Fire and Arcane needed major reworks and class changes. However as it stands it really seems that Frost isn’t going to get any love and is going to fall behind in the dps rankings. In order to fix that all they will do is increase the dps later on in some sort of hot fix… which basically sticks us with the same forced glacial spike playstyle.
I mean how hard would it have been to create an awesome hero class similar to Sunfury? With only an ounce of the creativity that went into that hero class… the combination of Arcane and Frost could have really been something special.
Spellslinger is just lazy design.
