Yes. I’m surprised all these streamers are not enjoying the game (whether they quit or not). Because I genuinely think that if anyone can enjoy the game, it’s these elite players.
Not a lot of people enjoy excessive or restrictive systems.
Not all streamers are elite players. Generally, many are quite casual. And even if they did enjoy the endless treadmills, their viewers largely don’t.
The issue is that the elite players hit endgame before anyone else. After jumping through so many hoops on one character, though, there’s little to no reason to do it again.
Have to spend a week of non-stop grinding and sleep deprivation for a single toon. Who do you think you are to suggest they do that again?
I’m not surprised that steamers are not enjoying the game. They are boiled clams, after all. Fix your title?
Yeah, I can see a stream now:
“Ok guys Im off to grind Renown, then Im grinding rep and doing world quests on all my toons, who’s with me?”
Cricket…
It’s difficult to enjoy the game when your stomach churns every time you log in because of the disgusting and vile sexual harassment Blizzard has allowed for years.
Why would I watch someone doing dailies or a raid I already completed? MMOs blow for streamers. Only reason people watch Asmon is because his personality
I mean, before streamers there were content creators. And now you only have who? Hazel? That’ll keep the people coming back
Sub numbers will skyrocket like Bobby Kotick’s revenue for the quarter with content creators like that.
*stares blankly…
Certainly when it comes to the covenant system, Shadowlands was specifically designed to punish ‘elite’ players. Especially those who do different forms of content and/or play different specs regularly.
Pre-launch, the loudest critics of the covenant restrictions were people doing high-end content. The biggest supporters of the covenant restrictions were people who hate players who do high-end content.
I’m here to laugh at the typo in the title, while not adding anything to the conversation. Goodbye.
Lol’d. Also, steamer can be used as slang for the pewp. Made me giggle even more.
That’s funny because that’s why I was laughing at it, too!
They probably are. The one people can’t shut up about (Asmongold) is still playing but it’s off stream.
What people need to realize is streaming is their job and right now it’s not good for their job to be associated with a company that’s in hot water for sexual harassment. The bigger names like Asmon and Belluar have sponsors and they might pull their funding if they continued to stream a Blizzard game.
It’s not about enjoyment , it’s about their cash flow
There’s nothing entertaining about the game currently that steamers can stream which is going to cause them to increase viewership ? Obviously they’re going to move to other games that are in a much more stable and enjoyable state
bloated systems added to increase grind on the same amount of content
stupid low drop rates to massively increase emphasis on the slot machine timegated vault
this game gives too little dopamine for too much time wasted
nobody likes it
