Pray tell how does getting rid of a timer brick mythic? If anything it allows for more freedom to not make everything dps go go go and punish healers more than anything
It’s not worth feeding the troll, they make comments like this across any remotely related threads just for reactions.
The whole point of mythic plus is the timer. If you remove the timer, you would see some players doing degenerate things, such as waiting for lust, cds, switching gear, etc. You could die to skip certain trash packs b/c there is no timer. Players could literally time 30-45+ keys b/c they can take all the time in the world. The challenge aspect of it is gone, and it would become who has more time to waste.
Yes, it most definitely would brick mythic +. The “go go go” is the whole point of mythic plus, hence the timer. Do everything within the given time and win the prize.
WHO cares??? If someone wants ot make a dungoen take 3hours because they pull one mob at atime who cares? If someone wants an all tnak run because its safer? Who cares? The timer is not the point of mythic plus, the added effects and difficulty is. And by not havign a timer it gives people the ability to strategize more to combat that. You said yourself.
I never said strategize at all. Please do not misquote me. I said it “would see some players doing degenerate things.” The two are not mutually exclusive.
This is wrong. The rewards are tied to a timer and that is an undisputed fact. The affixes rotate weekly, and they even come and go. Affixes are not what makes M+ “the point” as you claim. It is the timer.
I figure the aging player base with less time to spare nowadays. Mythic plus turning into something you have to spent countless hours for one dungeon would not be a good thing, but you seem to think so.
I don’t have an issue with this at all, and it’s also has been done on timed keys. Pretty cool actually. That they timed it.
I would also add that Blizzard would probably care since the MDI is a thing and having non-timed dungeon runs would lead to a snoozefest. But, hey, you’re dead set on making something that’s not going to happen a thing. Good luck, nonetheless.
Aug is still a mistake.
