I came back this week for the first time in 7 years, and it’s mostly been an absolute mess. I’ve spent 81 hours being:
- kicked from normal dungeons for not having high enough DPS at lvs 15-25
- dying 50x in Warsong Gulch per match. Didn’t know it wasn’t cool at lv 19 anymore.
- stuck in Booty Bay and Dalaran due to quest progression bugs
- soloing Burning Crusade bosses because at least it makes me feel something
I decided to say “fudge it” and ask Trade for help to at least discover a new zone. A random person I’ve never met talked to me for 15 minutes about my problem, switched characters, ported me, and flew me (with stopping at new FPs for me) to where I needed to be since the quest chain wasn’t working.
If it wasn’t for them, I’d probably be drooling on the side of the courtyard in Stormwind pretending that everything was okay and wishing it was 2008. Thank you to anyone who takes time out to help people who are suddenly noobs again.
