Make sure you are killing Kael and have the raid set to normal 25. It took me 50+ attempts for this ā€œholidayā€ and countless others since it was live. Got it yesterday finally. Just keep trying.

Be honest, if you had no idea and didnā€™t check the loot table, you would also assume the bird mount that looks like the bird boss would also drop from the bird boss.

You need to remember that brand new players roll through this game all the time and something as simple for us as checking the dungeon journal is not something that crosses their mind, nor are the countless external resources, nor that Blizzard are hopelessly terrible as conveying anything in game.

It really is a fair assumption for newer players to make, yeah. Luckily theyā€™ve gotten a little better at that by adding most mounts to the final boss of a dungeon/raid.

I ran it since Pandaria, had over 136 attempts since getting an add on to track. Finally got it on the 137th try. I understand your countless attempts!!

The irony of watching a handful of friends get it over the years and promising to go back until I got mine, only to get it alone, was not lost on me. It was bittersweet to finally get.

Can confirm that 8 years ago when i was a new player, i was told the mount came from that raid and i assumed it dropped from the boss that looks identical to the mount. Tried to get it for a few weeks but obviously never did.

I realised my mistake later down the line.
Still cringe and laugh at that to this day

People wonā€™t admit it, but there is always something a new player done wrong, we all have to learn somehow contrary to what some people here think.

im killing the last boss in tempest keep but you can only do it once per week so im not sure how you are doing it 50 times unless alts as you can do it once per week

You can have 61 chances per week.

What you do is make 59 characters, then you make a 60th character called Gankztasixty, now you run that alt to level 80 and run a raid and delete that character, make a new one called Gankztasixtyone and run that one to 80.

Next week you run Gankztasixtyone through a raid, delete that character and restore Gankztasixty. That allows for an extra run a week of whatever content.

Iā€™ve been running Attumen for 8 years with no luck

I detest Ashes and ICC for how long it takes so I run them maybe a few times a month
