it just makes no sense, your taking a capstone you cannot control. like hyperthermia is just going to trigger randomly so you are going to get instances where it never triggers or it triggers on pulls where you don’t really need it ect. why do this in m+?
It’s not about needing it. I just find it more fun. I enjoy RNG, and I enjoy managing resources and stacks and whatnot.
And if it was within 10% DPS of the meta build, I’d continue playing it. But it’s more than 30% behind, so I’m not going to troll people with it anymore. Just goinna find a new class.
Could you please expand on that notion, so he got 97 by item level and 17 overall compared to everyone?
I just looked at my own logs and dont see nearly such a difference. What would cause such a big difference between item level and overall? Is there something Im not doing?
It’s because my priest had basically no gear. So people who actually did have gear were doing astronomically more damage than me, but for my item level bracket (I think it’s +/- 3 ilvl?) I was doing well.
Dude.
Yesterday you made a thread where you were saying how fun Fire was and you settled on Mage, and then later in that thread some people were making fun of you about how long it’ll last and how you constantly reroll and let everyone know and how you had like a 2 hour Arms Warrior main phase
I thought they were just being mean tbh and didnt like you…
When you look at logs theres a tab to click by ilvl or by overall. The location is the three sword looking image thats underneath the raid/mythic season.
The overall log is compared against everyone at all ilvls for that key or raid boss.
The ilvl bracket restricts your comparison to agaisnt people with the same ilvl in a bracket of three. Example being by warrior is 626 so I am compared to everyone in the 625/626/627 ilvl bracket range
If you have a low overall parse but a high ilvl parse it means you are doing good rotationally but your gear is holding you back
If you have a high overall but a low ilvl then you are being carried by gear and making rotional mistakes.
Ideally you want your overall and ilvl to be as close as possible
So healing logs are a lot different than DPS logs. Especially in heroic because it requires your raid group to be bad in order to get a good parse. Healing parses are tough to gauge.
Typically means they aren’t competing with anyone at that ilvl. Normally the skilled players have higher ilvls so with a low ilvl they are a slightly bigger fish in a small pond. Think of flexing you were 2nd place at a friendly birthday party Smash Bros tournament where everyone else was drunk and fell off the stage cause they don’t know how to play
