Gonna stop you right there.
The only common denominator in all of your lobbies is you.
Sure, you can have strings of bad luck, whrre you did really well and loss.
You csn also have games where someone shuts you down effectively and singles you out, and you win bc the rest of the team carried.
If you leave everygame saying “they should have done xyz”
You will never improve.
The people you see making mistakes are at the same mmr you are, which means you are too, you just either havent identified what they are, or arent trying to bc you are too focused on them.

If Hazzikostas were a PVP developer, he’d say something like: Do you lose a lot of Blitz games? Yeah, Franklyn, that’s a skill issue
This is called, OP class. It wins the matches for you because it needs balancing.
Blame blizz, they havent done much lately.

Arbitrary. Who cares if you get a few points or not? The opposite is also the case. If your MMR is substantially higher than your CR, you’re also not going to lose any points either. Do you want to lose points for those losses as well?
It does.
I’m all for there being greater clarity in how points are gained or deducted, but seems like you have a misunderstanding of how it works.
My strat is to do a couple games a week and by the end the season I’m sure I’ll hit 1800. Don’t rush it.

like he can solely control that LOL. that’s what’s wrong with the wow pvp community right there, that comment is a perfect example
Like any ranked solo queue from any other game… it’s all about averaging out. If you’re a good player, you can more often than not do better than players less skilled.
I’m so sorry that a solo rating system is what’s wrong with the pvp community in your eyes, but it’s not my fault you haven’t figured out how solo queue ranking goes.

that’s not what was said, you said “Then don’t lose to a team lower rating than you?” and like I said one person out of 16 can not control that out come. 1 person can influence it but not control it. I was just in a blitz where a ret pally did 1.2 billion damage 500 million more damage than the 2nd dps of his team, had the most killing blows of the match and their team still lost. What more could have that pally did too win? the answer is NOTHING.
Almost like damage isn’t everything?
The amount of games I’ve seen in the last few days on alts at 1800-2400MMR full of people in LFR gear with no PvP trinkets that just sit mid all game like it’s a dungeon and you’re just there for the damage is mind blowing. People ignore the most basic strats that get tossed out in chat and have zero situational awareness.

Omg, you just don’t get it…
Yep I guess I just don’t get why people are whining. It must just be a mystery and luck as to why people are able to consistently get 2.5k in blitz and others can’t ever break 1.2k. It’s gotta be the system! Lmaooooo

People should post clips when they complain. So we can see how awful their team mates are.
It’s so true that there are plenty of frustrating teammates in Blitz. How do you deal with it? Simple, ask yourself two questions:
- How many times have you made similar mistakes?
- How many of your wins came from your enemies messing up?
Honestly, my own hunter has cost my team a lot of victories, but somehow, it still stays in the 2.8k~2.9k MMR bracket. What does that mean? That there are plenty of players in high MMR lobbies making mistakes, too. Everybody makes mistakes, including yourself and those R1 players.
And let’s be real, some of my wins were simply because the other team choked, nothing to do with my skill. If your experience is similar to mine, you’ll know there’s no need to get too upset about other players. Everyone’s messing up somewhere!
BTW, Blitz usually matches you with players on par with you. If a player doesn’t know the EOTS rules but has the same MMR as you, it likely means he’s better than you on other maps.
The three biggest factors imo:
- Time of day
- Knowing when to stop
- Luck
Best queues for me are 7-9pm EST and the time in queue is around 8 min. That means lots of people are playing and you will likely be put in a group with similar MMR players. The fewer players Qing, the more likely you will be matched outside your MMR, which could be good or very bad.
I always queue until I lose. Once I lose, I take a break for a couple of hours or until prime time the next day. Chasing a win after a loss often results in another loss, followed by another. Know when your lobby sucks.
Luck is also a factor. I play 4 warriors, 2 prot and 2 arms. One prot is 2k with a 66% win rate while the other loses 50% and can’t escape 1800.
I have an arms warrior at 1980 and another that can’t break 1700.
