You don’t need it but if you’re unwilling to learn the fights and recognize the rotation the bosses, you need DBM. IF you dont want to read up on how the bosses work or learn through experience, recognizing the signs and signifiers of what the challenge is AND dont install DBM which is just a shortcut to this that is on you.
It’s wannabe dark souls.
no if i can’t do it effortlessly on my first try it’s overtuned and it’s artificial difficulty
I forgot that its impossible to admit if you like something it can never be improved for others. I hate this era of gaming. No one cares about anyone else and end up just acting like bodyguards for a company who dont give a crap about you
Most high end sweaty players do not install DBM because it serves as a distraction and they know the fights already, we are not most sweaty players and we dont have the time to learn like that. That is what DBM is for, its been like this for 20 years to add the cherry on top.
I’m a body guard for wanting a challenge, I don’t want it to be handed to me. Competition and inclusivity are not complementary. You need to have DBM if you dont want to learn the fights. No one is going to cater to what you want if ur unwilling to do either. I feel like that’s a bare minimum.
be careful with these bugs everyone. even if you dont know about it or see it and you are just playing through it, you will get a ban.
Welp time to hit the dusty trail the attack dogs have sniffed out this thread
So here is the where disconnect is:
overwhelming majority of players want casual pretty game where with time you can overcome those “interesting mechanics”, and a handful of players want satanic stress and hurdles. This is not compatible and needs to be separated.
Tho difficult version of the game will die tho soon after launch.
Its really funny if i find out someone is interested in DnD i want them to love the hobby and find the same amount of enjoyment that i find in it. Maybe it might be because of a different aspect than i find interesting but the more people that like DnD the more i get to induldge in my hobby.
However i dont then tell them they are only having fun if they play it this way and if you dont youre nothing but wrong. Infact it seems we just have a bunch of nightmare DMs that never got their way with thier groups
Need some context my dude. All content is tuned differently depending on the type of players that engage with said content.
I cant help but imagine you’re WAY too undergeared for that content. Your armory only shows you at ilvl 519, which is typical for a fresh level 80.
You’re nowhere near ready for mythics dungeons. You should be closer to ilvl 580 before attempting that.
Also on delves, they are not impossible. Nowhere near it. Respect the ilvl requirement they suggest for the content and you’ll have a much smoother experiance.
The old mythic dungeons were fine the way they were. Idk why they decided to make mythic dungeons so difficult. So now it’s like casuals are forced out of mythic+ which was traditionally casual endgame for non raiders. And now they’re doing group delves apparently
which does not in any way prevent you, me, or anyone else from doing them solo
i soloed this on a prot warrior on tier 8… you stand in the poison to avoid burn away dmg… you also have spell reflect and impending victory for every burn away
Locks are pretty tanky in general. Add the pet, and it should be pretty tolerable.
Yeah, I’m sure delves are leap and bounds easier as a lock compared to Shadow Priest and Devestation. Evoker isn’t awful due to the mobility, but there isn’t much having to kite with how tight the areas can be and all the packs… it’s almost better to face tank everything.
Evokers are pretty tanky as well.
Yeah. That’s basically the only way to play it if you can’t slow, and you’re in a small space. Some classes just don’t have enough heals or dmg mitigation to pull it off though. You would have to significantly outgear the encounter.
Age of software is meaningless, especially in hardware terms, WoW uses the same hardware API (DirectX) that FF14 does. The reason WoW has many more issues every expansion is they insist on doing massive overhauls to actual gameplay systems like UI, crafting and combat, whereas FF14 keeps these relatively the same between every expansion, only changing the content, story, and class spells.
Its like with every expac theyre trying to invent the wheel but just end up with a croissant before starting over on the next wheel design that is so much better much wow than the last. Until the next system (i mean wheel design) comes along
Can I have your gold?
