Mad props to that person i can’t even bother to do it once the most i done is the easy ones you get from doing the essense dragon one.
Kinda like how you complain about flying even though it’s completely optional.

Yes the essences and the warcampaign are pain for alts … ( I did them with 6 characters) Help! 
I am doing them now with another three …

No but that didn’t happen until the last patch, I am sure they will make essences much easier to get during the last patch of bfa too. That’s just what they do.
Agree but at this point I suspect its a point of stubbornness for blizzard not to back down.
Also… does anyone else here get the feeling Ion is the kind of rules monger who insists at being the bank when his family are playing monopoly? And has strict rules about who gets what? Even if the game turns to garbage?

I don’t want to get personal but Ion raids mythic three times a week and is GM of his guild and every tier this expansion his neck has been way behind the curve of what mythic raiders should have.
He greenlit the system he doesn’t want to play, If it wasn’t fun for you Ion why is it fun for us?

Check the second post in this thread, the shaman which he stated is his new main has killed 8/8 and it shows on armoury.
Maybe take a moment to read the actual thread. I swapped mains through the tier.
‘Min maxing’ characters is not the same as having essences at the same level as your main character. Min maxing would be having BIS items in each slot with Benthic gear and socket. Very few people would bother doing the benthic lottery a second time.
This might come as radical suggestion but alts don’t need to feel like absolute sandbaggers. There is no reason they need to be second class citizens.
Want essences the same level as your main, put in the same work as your main.
That is how WoW has always worked.
They don’t. But if you want to 8/8M on an alt, then you’ll have to put in the same work you did on your main. Plain and simple.

The amount of work you’re needed to do to be on the same level as your main for alts has become drastically worse over the last few expansions. I had 4 tanks that were extremely close in power in both MoP and WoD. It was awesome and I played the game significantly more then than I do now.
Honestly it boggles me why people are defending essences not being account bound, are you being paid by blizzard or?
Is this one of those things that you’ve done it once on a differnet alt (Not that character you’re posting on) and you feel disgruntled about others getting a free ride?
It’s like you actively want to punish people for wanting to play the game more.
