I’m just defeated… my favorite class is just practically dead in this meta and it’s just making me sad.
After a few games of 3’s I just can’t live anything long enough to make any difference in these games.
You’ve destroyed Resolve Trinket and Demon Armor…the few things that gave me a fighting a chance to these oppressive melee, and gave every class a dispel to combat affliction’s weak padding damage, making them just run around like a lost puppy.
It’s absolutely damaging to my mental state when I play this class, that I used to enjoy.
I know the game is full of one shots and stuff and most classes have them and can live them…but as my lock i just can’t.
It’s just super depressing to play any of the specs right now, i don’t find my favorite class fun anymore, the one thing that kept me tied to this game, the only reason I even GOT into PvP.
I can’t live Assassination Rogue’s burst even when I dispel Sepsis…
I can’t live Fury Warrior burst when I teleport behind a portal, gate away from him, fear him, or soulshape away from them, they just destroy me.
I can’t live Unholy Death Knight’s Abomination Limb constantly pulling me every chance I get to cast and silencing me to death. I go to teleport behind a pillar and try to kite him out of range…it just doesn’t work.
How is this gameplay fair? I outplay these classes and they just destroy me solely to the fact they burst me in 0.3 seconds and I can’t do anything to live it.
Call me back in Dragonflight when Warlocks have a chance again…'til then i’m just gonna uninstall the game and live my Warlock fantasies elsewhere…
I was 100% serious, zero trolling, when I told you this game is doing something bad to you mentally. Everyone gets mad at the game, you take it a bit beyond that–or at least seem to be really bothered by it.
As genuinely as I’ve ever meant anything on this forum, you should take a break and find some other stuff that’s less stressful to spend some time on for a while. Azeroth isn’t going anywhere.
I agree with Doors. Have to just let the bull roll off your shoulders and have a laugh when dumb bs happens. You could be like my 2s partner and I and just make fun of Blizzard for the fact PvP is a clown show in disco as it happens to laugh it off.
You have been making threads like this one for a long time now, have you considered the posibility that maybe, just maybe, you might be doing something wrong?

normally when i see my rating being under someone who plays the exact same spec, and consistently so, i assume that i’m the one who’s playing poorly, not some thing about being oppressed by x, or y got nerfed so i cant play anymore (though sometimes it do be feelin like the spec i play at the time is garbage compared to others)
im gonna go out on a limb and say you should look more towards improvement, tightening your gameplay, and reviewing it
and if the game is honest to god having a genuine negative impact on your health, take a step back for a bit, play other games, and take a break from wow

Still don’t understand how thats an actual honor talent they can run when they have shell, bigzone, and all the disruption tools against casters. Nerf pls blizz.
Considering his post history he’s probably the type of lock who’s trying to face tank the dk hardcasting bolts or drain life spamming and expecting to stay alive.
Honestly I don’t think its that difficult for an UH DK to really force out a port/gate from the lock before committing to use abom limb. If its aff, should be even easier for them to take down considering darkglare/darksoul are the only things you have to trade for in order to survive. Unsure about destro since they can still throw out instant bolts and somewhat be a menace after the demon armor/resolve nerf.
This is true and aff is in a rough spot. If it was any other poster I’d be less harsh but this guy has been making doom post about lock even last season when destro/aff was the freeiest rating it’s been all expansion. Guy’s just bad and wants attention. He also doesn’t que as much as he says, he’s got 203 games played on his lock this entire season and hasn’t broke 1800 in either bracket on it.
Destro can get run down but it can also kill if you don’t respect it. Feels better now but the nerfs were 100% misguided and didn’t really fix the primary issues with warlocks people had. Just made all the bad FOTM one’s quit lock or reroll demo.
