The 2nd mob specifically. I keep turning into a pod. The big flower guy shoots me with the laser thing. I don’t know how to get out of it or prevent from getting hit. Then I just watch my health drop fast until I die.
Your teammates are supposed to break you out of the pod before you get lasered. Might want to stand closer when you’re fighting packs with the tirnenn villagers so melee can actually see what’s happening. But as a Hunter, you should probably be dropping Overgrowth by feigning death when he starts channeling on you so you don’t get put in the pod in the first place.
Even if you do get podded, the tank should be aiming the laser away from you since you cannot move until you are helped.

I don’t think that’s controllable? They just turn and do a kamehameha on a “random” player, and by random I mean the one with the lowest HP

Hello, I see you posted a thread about dying. You know, when I don’t want to die, I usually try to avoid the thing that is going to kill me! Maybe you should try and do the same!

The big treeman guy will shoot a blue beam at you, which is unavoidable as this is a targeted ability and he is immune to stun and other CCs. As a hunter, you can feign death as soon as the beam shoots at you and he will stop turning you into a pod. And as for the kamehameha, well he aims the blast at where he faces the tank, and when he’s casting, he won’t turn, so just dodge it I guess?
You can shadowmeld and feign death it, but it will go to someone else
Your a hunter, get you pet to attack the pod if your team mates arnt doing it
I’ve done Mists a couple times and I have no idea what you guys are talking about, but now I want to know… 
What is controllable is the tank facing the tree guy away from the group from the very beginning. The tirnen will turn ba k to the group to cast pod, but then will turn back to the tank to cast laser beam.
So long as melee arent standing on top of the tank, it is quite possible to keep the beam off your group.
