well theres already perma vanilla too, so assuming we are living in a time line with both vanilla era and tbc era we would also have wrath era. I would play all 3 expansions equally and have fully decked out toons in all 3. i dont care about any xpac after wrath

It’s a waste of money for them for the 500 people who want to sit around exploring the Outlands for 50K hours.

Can you tell me how perm. Wrath servers will be different? Wrath is BC+. In Wrath, you level, do heroic dungeons and raid. Just like BC.

Because those players are all holding onto an old server. They have their guilds, raids, and everything. It’s already established, which makes it completely irrelevant.
You can’t take something that people have been doing for years and say “oh we will do it over here the same way”. No, you won’t. It doesn’t work like that.
Because some of us like TBC, and really don’t care for wrath, and simply would like a forever TBC, like the current ERA servers, also zero desire to play fresh.
There would also be plenty of a population on a TBC forever server, there would be all of two servers. Obviously those who crave and freak out if they are on anything but a mega server will probably be disappointed however.

I love love love Wrath, It’s an excellent expansion.
My heart belongs in BC though, and always will. No achievements, no dual spec, can use different spell ranks because mana costs are different etc. BC holds onto a certain RPG element that Wrath forgoes.

why would players not hold onto a tbc or wrath server the same way? (they have already been playing tbc and wrath for over a decade now on private servers…)

incorrect we were forced into wrath and lots were disappointed with no perma tbc. u are clearly a retail player or a troll u failed to provide 1 good solid reason why this shouldnt be a thing

There were no good private server options, no.
One is coming on the horizon, but if this whole vanilla to BC thing STAYS at BC I won’t touch it and stick with Blizzard.
