A smart man wouldn’t call themselves smart, they would call others stupid :sunglasses:

And I would not recommend wasting your money doing so, better to just find level appropriate gear. With how fast leveling is, and heirlooms are nerfed compared to what they used to be, it really isn’t worth it.

And I’m someone who levels alts all the time. You will find better gear just doing normal things while leveling.

Leveling a bunch of alts I ran into the same thing, since most of my heirlooms don’t go past level 49.

Eventually when I’m close to 70 I’m at the point where I’m just following others around.

gear doesnt drop fast enough in radiant leveling… I also upgraded the non garry ones YEARS ago

Remember way back when, when we had weapon skills we had to level up? In Wrath, my hunter got a shiny new bow from a raid and my DPS fell HARD. Couldn’t figure it out, opened a ticket and everything. The super nice GM had to explain to me that my bow skills were at 0 and I needed to level it up.

We all have our moments.

I’m sure it also has something to do with the fact you lack the proper length arms to get an actual good swing in.

It still isn’t worth the large money investment better to find stuff on the ah. Unless you want to perhaps level tons of new classes, Heirlooms just aren’t that great anymore.

I guess you could justify it, if your plan is to level a bunch of new classes all at once through this event, if not I would save your money.

Unless something changes in the future than quest rewards give just as much or sometimes more power to your character than current heirlooms.

Oh, I agree to use them until there no good. I was just suggesting not increasing them further at their current iteration. As it quickly get’s pricy.

I use mine until level 49 where I will then start grabbing quest rewards. It’s better to not have to think about, and you can keep a somewhat decent tmog even while leveling.

ah, gotcha

Good luck with your leveling.

My rogue was untouched since BFA.

Decided to finally level her.

Had trouble killing a crab in Dragon Isles with ilvl 66 benthic and HoA gear lol.

I mean, as far as the event is concerned, the paladin I leveled last week would’ve been trying to fight mobs at level 60 with the starting pants, no helmet or shoulders, and an ilvl 23 mace if it weren’t for the heirlooms.

Undertuned heirlooms beat having nothing at all with the none gear that drops.

I’m sorry there was a little confusion I do believe the heirlooms are a good idea up to a certain level.

I do not think they need to be upgraded fully as they lose their value pretty quickly

at a certain point it just becomes better to get a few items off the ah, instead of spending a load of money.

I was thinking of it more as a returning player that already has them up to 34 or 39, that it would probably not be worth the investment to upgrade them further.

Sometimes my succubus is hung over and I catch her using a shoelace for a whip.
