And surgeons should be able to perform surgery without their instruments. Otherwise it’s just the scalpel carrying them into the body. A REAL surgeon can carefully open a clean, straight line with just their fingertips.

I mean, the content I do in FF14 is equal to LFR/LFG. I haven’t encountered anything that could be considered a challenge since everything is a queue.
That’s why the instances are so boring to me.
This isn’t dark souls where that’s factually accurate.

I bet if I traded my gear with someone who has full 226, they could prove they are the better player anyway.
Just remove stats from gear and leave mogs+ilvl+flavor stuff imo. It would make the game easy to balance.
How about PvE stat templates with an easy / medium / hard selection, with easy being the highest ilvl. Seems reasonable.
I would like to see a Mythic World first race with template gear. The results might be shocking.

I was wondering if blizz would consider making difficult content scale down your ilvl to preset lvls. I doubt people would do that though since it seems the goal is to get better gear.
They’ve done that with CMode, the result is still the same, the best player completed it and sell it.
They did it as well in Legion, the top 1% completed Mage Tower with Nighthold gear, which is like 400% weaker than Argus gear + Relic and all that bonus.
Ilvl preset would actually damage the baddies more than the top 1%.

Put an ilvl on bgs … like timewalking does. Regular bgs have been the heart of wow and prob the best part for a majority of subscribers. They are or were fun… It sucks they are treated so poorly by blizz.

A minimum to enter? Isn’t the common complaint that mythic raiders and elite ranked are crushing players in BGs? The way to stop that would be to put a maximum limit to enter BGs… and that’s not something Blizzard does.
A minimum isn’t what timewalking does, it takes everyone and scales them to a certain ilvl.
At that point why not just bring back the PVP templates from Legion…
Not really…? I mean, It is proven enough that we need it. And that skill is also needed but can’t really do that with how terrible Blizzard is at balancing.
