My character is having trouble surviving in PvP. He can’t survive more than a few hits from the opposing team. Every time an enemy is encountered my character is dead within 10 seconds.
How am I supposed to PvP if I can’t stay alive long enough to do anything? Is Blizz ever going to increase warlock survivability?

Be a melee. Or nearly any other class.
I’m being serious btw, warlock survivability is in the toilet compared to most other classes, and pretty much all melee.
Melee have so many gap closers and speed boosts now that there’s no such thing as a ranged advantage, and warlocks traditional tankiness has been removed (because it meant melee took 2 gcd’s to kill us instead of 1 and that made the game less fun for them).

They had surviveability right in Beta they lowered soul link and all the health buffs and self heals that would have evened the playing field when damage ramped up as it always does. granted we were extremely tanky when damage was lower during lower ilvl but damage always outpaces health and defenses later in every expansion aand currently the original tankiness would be balanced

Make drain life nature damage so we have something anything to cast that doesn’t lock us out of every button on the screen if kicked.

Do you think that would make any real difference? You’d just end up with nature and shadow kicked due to the many and varied ways you can be kicked/interrupted (but for some reason disarming a melee is a no-go and they are protected).

It makes a huge difference actually, see destro locks.
I don’t think a lock is a good toon to start with if you are new and especially to pvp, the class is complicated. You need the right pet for every situation like the blueberry for defense or your hound for spell lock sacked or not. you also need to change your pvp talents based on the comp you are fighting all the time and its very annoying. I seen people sack hound and go after melee groups. they need to sack blueberry for the extra stam and shield. I seen people stack mastery over haste or balance it.
I see people complain about melee but they are some of my favorite to play against. The problem is the constant switching for comps and talents every single time you play arena and you have to sack pet everytime you change talents. Its a very complicated class to play and i dont think anyone new should play it due to bloat. Play a warrior or hunter or as a caster a priest or mage or even a monk or DH, these classes are very easy to play and require very little quality of life changes in pvp. I got a voker too and they arent so bad but they are glass cannons like hunters. A master lock is really good at almost any situation. Our survival against melee does need tuning and we do need a damage increase for pressure. we should be getting some of that in patch.
