C’mon that final cut scene in legion were illidan disappears with him, are we supposed to believe that he defeats him, Sargeras?
How many times has he failed his superiors in the past lol. And we are expected to believe he defeats Sarg?

He doesn’t fight Sargeras, Sargeras gets chained to his chair and Illidan watches him for eternity.
Illidan gets to talk him to death, like he does to us all through Argus.
These are both 100% correct answers.
those 2 travelin the stars. sargeras and illidan. just a couple of besties!
Plot twist!
Maybe illidan will return and be leading the burning legion himself.
Daddy Illidan wouldn’t do that.
ya probably. we’ll come back from shadowlands and find that the burning legion had good intentions all along. and illidan will have learned this from bestie sargeras on their space ship adventures.
That’d be one heck of a twist!
I would like to think Illidan is betrayed by the Titans, who in turn kill Sargeras and imprison Illidan, making Sargeras the real hero since he took them out earlier, and they plotted their revenge. The star does not shine anymore, meaning, there is a problem at the Pantheon…The Titans took out Sargeras.
I had a similar thought months ago, since blizzard seems to be building the void lords as the big baddie for now and they retconned sargeras to be destroying the universe so the void lords have nothing to inhabit if they managed to invade from their void realm.
It would be funny to see sargeras and illidan and the pantheon being like well champions we need to team up against the void lol
It seems too neat to simply lock him away.
Will likely free him or something else does.
Good read guys. Maybe in SL they going to introduce the void. And flowing xpac may just be about illidan and Sergeras (how ever you spell it) lol
Wait, how the Titans killing Sargeras is making Sargeras the hero?
They take turns comparing scars.
Illidan vs. Sargeras? Sargeras by a landslide. But I am predicting the Titans will betray Illidan. And Illidan must align himself with Sargeras, like it or not. And both will fight the Void with the Azeroth players (I am not a “hero”, I was a peasant from Gilneas, who happen to learn how to defend myself).
Illidaddy wouldn’t dare.
Illidan-senpai would never allow himself to be defeated by that over-grown rock Sargeras.
Why would they betray Illydann?
