i am interested in all of the wow in game lore for illidan. i found that the questline in outland involves picking aldors or scryers.
as a demon hunter, i suspect neither would be good for lore siding with illidan, but is there one that gives more illidan lore?
Not that I recall.
The only real difference is that the Aldor have a closer flight point to the Black Temple.
Scryers focuses more on Kael’s Sunfury/Firewings than Illidan, Aldor focuses on demons in general, only the Sha’tar, I think, has ever directly dealt with the Illidan topic.
hmmm. thank you for posting that. i definitely enjoy the story with kael’thas as well, so i will pick up the scryers.
i will focus on sha’tar first then since that is about illidan.
i generally skipped over outlands quests, but recently got into the lore.
I’m pretty sure you can change sides too later, but it is a grind to do. You can also read up on the quests from the other side if you are worried about missing lore.
No matter which side you pick, for the player, Illidan is the big bad of Outland until you finish the Black Temple storyline where that switches over to Kael’thas.
