Is still a net survivability loss, not sure how this hero talent was completely glossed over for the entirety of alpha and beta.

Trading 10% max hp affects every other defensive that scales with max hp, that’s soul leech/demon skin regen/healthstones/dark pact.

For a small increase in soul leech’s max shield cap value of 15% hp? First off that trade alone comes down to a mere 5% hp increase but the max shield’s value can only be attained via demon skin while out of combat/not taking damage, might be a below average trade in raids/m+ but is a monumental nerf in delves/pvp/open world, basically anywhere you actually have to face tank.

It just isn’t possible to fill the shield to max value in combat while taking damage, thus it will only ever be an out of combat buff which lasts a few secs into a fight and even then doesn’t cover the opportunity cost lost via the 10% hp and it’s effect on our other defensives.

It’s a trap talent, something which should never exist.

Now if this talent was a tradeoff for a soul leech increase (let’s say 6% instead of 3), might be worth reconsidering. Although 10% max hp is too heavy a price still imo.

Yeah they’ve nerfed demon skin and soul leech too much. Blizzard needs to give classes less defensives that way they don’t have to nerf them into oblivion.
