I was pugging a +8 SoA tonight on my tank. For the whole run, things were just as smooth as you could ask. We get to the final boss with 11 minutes left on the timer.
Then we wipe. One of the DPS (I’m not going to name names of course) deliberately wiped the group, then wouldn’t release, then refused to accept the rez and just laughed at us as we attempted to 4-man it until we eventually just all quit the group. Last thing they said in party chat before getting kicked from the group was “welcome to trolling”. Seriously.
Now that’s who deserves the biggest debuff there is.
I had someone once in an M15 UR in BFA, while they didn’t purposely wipe us, they were so bad wipes were inevitable. Lucky for us we still finished after I kicked them out for being so bad. 3rd boss they did all the mechanics wrong, no way we could pass if one person was that bad on that boss.
I had a tank recently leave someone elses +14 key right after it was put in. Since it is possible for me to run into the same people in pug keys from time to time, I am keeping my own blacklist of who not to group with.
Didn’t ignore the person but maybe I should do that. I meant just keeping a note on certain people who deliberately ruin keys like that. Pug groups alliance side in LFG are getting more scarce these days so have to be aware of trolls that sabotage runs. Chances are you will run into them again especially if they have behaved in that manner before.
I’ll be the first to admit it sounds unbelievable but it did happen. I kept screenshots but I am not going to post anything that could get me in hot water. I know there have been people who have gotten into trouble in the past by calling out folks by name, not going to go there. And they most definitely went on the ignore list in a hurry.
Don’t worry you are going to get people who defend the current system and said if any punishment is handed out it will make the pugging scene even worse
I agree with Nittany, send in a report with the time it happened and good bit of detail. From what I understand Blizzard has logs and the time and details help them narrow it down. In the past Blizzard didn’t put up with this sort of thing.
No harm in spending the few minutes to send in the report, maybe they will get what’s coming to them.
