I don’t know what Blizzard’s stance is on this, just talking into the blue void. But that’s how they’d hook me into a version of a game that I otherwise wouldn’t have any interest in playing.
Didn’t that just happen at the start of cata with the Remix? I was under the impression all transmog earned during that playmode transferred over giving people the opportunity to get the transmog on retail.
If you’re referring to MoP Remix, Challenge Mode and their rewards weren’t available there.
Not likely to happen, given that none of the stuff you’ve been able to collect in classic has been able to be transferred to retail (IE Atiesh, T3, Benediction, etc.)
Blizzard’s stance on it is that Classic and retail will never interact with one another if I’m remembering right.
This sounds incorrect given that they gave you a mount on retail for leveling a dk on wotlk classic
And nothing else since or before then.

But if Blizzard were smart, they’d do it. A lot of people missed out on Challenge Mode, given it’s 13 year old content. A lot of people probably also want its cosmetic rewards, I dare say.

no not gonna happen. Bye! You dont need to have everything in the game. Just because you’re jealous people got it back in the day. There’s plenty of new cosmetic rewards to get in retail that are a challenge to get.

so just like how none of the stuff so far, Scarab Lord/legendary gear/T3/Immortal-Undying etc, hasn’t been unlocked for use in retail on accounts that earned them in classic, they probably won’t do that for MoP challenge mode transmog
you had to do like 10 minutes worth of quests to get that mount, it was hardly some noteworthy investment since they didn’t require you to have a 55 already to make a DK
People that might be getting bored of retail and thinking of unsubbing, might stick around and try the classic servers if they could obtain unobtainables in retail. A few extra dollars could be made. Especially with MOP’s challenge mode sets and Legion’s Mage Tower unlocks.
There wont be any cross over between classic and retail it would be too messy and cause to many issues.
That is their stance. I wonder how long they will keep it given that Classic will eventually catch Retail and they will want to merge the two.
They will never merge the two, both version has paid cosmetics. If you merge you have to reimburse what was bought in both version.
They thought ahead with that. It is why the classic version are worse then the retail versions.
at least an hour, and the point is that they’ve done it before. Blizzard will do it if there is a large enough demand for it.

whatever that one guy said about reimbursing is silly. no one reads the ToS or anything whenever they purchase stuff, and no doubt theres some clause along the lines of “we don’t have to reimburse anything if we dont want to lol”
