Demon hunters need a buff already, let’s not take away blade Dance dodge. Let’s make it every other blade dance gives you the dodge.
Over nerfing any class is never the right move.

Bruh
What, people are going to realize how squishy Demon Hunters are, even more so with all these survivability nerfs.
100% dodge is just broken especially when you add the frequency of Blade Dances. It is unnecessary suitability on a DPS spec that causes them to vastly out preform other melee damage specs in most game environments due to then straight up requiring as much healing. All Melee specs from Arms Warriors to Survival Hunters should always haft to worry about where they are standing and what is hitting them. Glimps is still a super short CD that gives both Damage reduction and 50% dodge. Havoc can still spec in to 10/30% leech. On top of that all covenant abilities give you defensive utility.
Demon hunters wear leather cant swap to bear form or spam a heal. They cant teleport away and heal. They cant run away long enough to stealth and heal. Demon hunters have to do damage to heal while avoiding damage to heal. Now they cant even dodge temporarily only melee attacks while healing from damage.
You see it’s not the leech nerf or the blade dance nerf. It’s the let’s nerf everything instead of nerfing one thing at a time to see how it feels.
That’s how they screw over alot of classes and specs.
Buff MM first! Our rotation is too unforgiving and you can make up for it by giving us a HOT damage buff.
They just need to buff your mastery stat baseline sort of what they did to arms but not to that degree.
Nah.
This was a long time coming and you should’a been hit with the nerf bat sooner.
Look I get it you are upset as you are the most ignored class and playing the most ignored spec in the game.
But if you dont see the issues with nerfing more then 1 thing at a time to actually balance the issues, then you don’t realize what happened to your spec that made it so bad.
Boi this ain’t even my main but go off I guess.
And no, yall deserved this.
Reads title.
“uhh, what?”
How about instead of “let’s” you get a no.
Doesnt blade dance provide an Iframe? I played BDO and Iframes were such a pain to deal with in PVP.
I don’t think any class should have them.
No, it gives you 100% dodge to a melee attack.
The issues are the over nerfs instead of nerfing 1 at a time it’s all defensive nerfed then they will over buff them.
That’s the issue with blizzard they dont think about things when they start the nerf uzi.
So that’s the least of the crimes they are doing to havoc. The haste loss is far far more damaging as Havoc is going to play like absolute molasses at the north pole in winter without Furious Gaze. Add in the demonic nerf and the changes to the meta cooldown… yeah Havoc is going straight into the ground. The only thing that might feel worse to play is Shaman.
Note: right now there is only one ‘right’ covenant for Havoc, Venthyr. Everything else might as well not exist. So there is that issue too.
Yeah, people complain about Havoc being “easy mode” and then cheer when Havoc has Demo shortened especially when the haste is removed, now it will be literally impossible for Havoc to double Death Sweep in Demo which was one of their main skill gaps.
On top of that AoE cap on everything, removal of dodge from Blade Dance and I’m pretty sure they nerfed the flat reduction on Blur? DH have been hit pretty damn hard.
It’s probably not gonna be super fun to play for the first few patches, so I guess in the end all the haters won?
Sure, lets buff demon hunters, but while we’re at it can we buff Druids as well? If no, then nothing for you!
Looks like it, I’m still up in the air as to what will be my main in SL. Right now I may tank in vengance… but havoc looks absolutely dead until 9.2 at a minimum. Because unless blizz gives them back furious gaze in some form, it will take that long to get gear with enough haste to make the spec worthwhile.
It doesnt matter if it is your main or not. If you think the right choice is to over nerf idk what to tell ya.
This isnt my main but I dont want a class to get Nerfed into the ground.
Example it would be as dumb if they nerfed defensive stance to do 5% less damage take 25% less damage dealt while making arms do 15% less damage all together. Then make rally cry only do 5% more stam.
Or make vampiric embrace do 5% of all damage dealt is converted into healing and make dispersion reduce damage by 25%
Make soul link only work if pet is in combat and in LoS of the lock resolve reduced damage takin by 10% and health stones only heal for 2%
They do it all the time. They over nerf a class it becomes unviable then they over nerf it and we go back to square one.
Nah, nerf them into the ground and beyond.
