Should’ve had its own unique model, not been just a highland drake reskin.
Not sure why anyone would? We’re recruiting the Netherwings to our cause and they mentioned it in the first video. It’ll be nice to get rid of those damn goofy horns. lol

You should see how bad the incoming Sprite Darter mount looks, because it’s another Highland model.

I’m very thankful they became customizable, i felt very hurt and angered by the fact that it wasn’t customizable as a dragon riding mount and thought the devs as “lazy”. Apparently they just needed more time… meaning the whole discussion about not being able to keep staff and having to pick which content to cut and delaying things was 100% true, which makes me feel bad for the devs cause Blizzard can’t keep their promises to their staff or treat them well / pay them enough

Whatchu mean goofy horns? Am I missing something? I thought the base netherdrake model look swell.
Personally I’m waiting for the Seven UP Darter mount.

To be fair, all the drake mounts since TBC are recolours with slight variations to head/tail decorations. Not sure how different they could have made it. I suppose they could change up wing shapes or something.

WE HAD TO GRIND THOSE FOR A LONG TIME TO HAVE SOMETHING SO UNIQUE AND SPECIAL AND NOW YOU’RE JUST GIVING IT AWAY TO PLAYERS AND LETTING THEM HAVE FREE THINGS, THIS IS WHY THIS GAME SUCKS CAUSE EVERYONE JUST WANTS TO BE HANDED THINGS. Nope its a trading post mount so it will be on rotation eventually
The wings kind of bother me a bit. The TBC model has these kind of ethereal, translucent wings without the very clearly defined “finger bones” you see in the modern model. They also trailed magic, which the new model does not.
That being said, I’m glad they’re making them customizable because it’s the only Dragon Riding mount I use now. The O.G. dragon race mount. Who remembers those quests? I hope they include all the original skin tones, I was always partial to veridian.
I liked the campy top gun references.

Hopefully they’ll add those types of horns as options. Right now the customization on the PTR is quite limited.

My guess is they will keep adding options to the trading post
that single horn may be an option…I’m hoping that we instantly unlock other skin tones for the grotto netherwing if we got the BC netherwings. I mean it’d be rather nice as I got every color, sadly I fear people would whine and complain either way so probably not going to be a thing.
