Well ill admit i just got it the Broom on 2nd toon…Thought id try for the fun of it and see what would happen… Got on Alt did the dungeon got broom mount…this is also after I ran my main toon.,

thought id try for giggles ran warrior got helm peace so thought for fun ill run my fav alt. got on it qued killed boss looted boxed opened box broom dropped.

The broom is pretty easy to get. I’d estimate its drop rate to be somewhere around 20%. Not sure about subsequent kills though.
The rocket however remains stubbornly elusive.
Wonder if the Rocket is the one thats once per account but broom can drop for alts…either way glad im done again 
It would be interesting if this was the case. I haven’t had the fortune to get either the rocket or broom on any kill of the day so I cannot confirm anything myself yet. Either way grats on the broom 
Wait, I saw a Blizzard ticket response saying it only dropped on the first attempt? So that wasn’t accurate, it’s just a lower chance?

I got the rocket on my only attempt yesterday. Hopefully the broom mount won’t be as elusive.

What broom are we even speaking of, I haven’t been able to login for a few days so I feel like I’m missing something.
I got it second day as well but at first i thought it was the love rocket and got really excited!! But then it was the broom and I went “oh, wow, ok” and then added it to my collection and did some dailies 
New mount added to the loot pool of crown chemical co instance. It looks like the blood elf broom mount on the trading post
This one, it’s pink instead of red like trading post one.
