Why is there a normal-looking snake just hanging out in the Maw?
Is he evil? Did he do something bad? He looks so out of place.

Okay, but we all know eels really don’t have souls.
But how come everyone else who goes to the Maw turns into a spooky ghost and he just stays a snake?
Cause the snake joined the Jailer and got a cool body out of it. Duh

I don’t see why not, every power seems to be handing them out. Hakkar, N’zoth, some other troll loa. Jailer seems like a cool guy letting people choose their afterlife.

Honestly Ikras doesn’t bother anyone. It just flies around enjoying its afterlife, and I feel like we should just let it enjoy its eternity.
Evil Souls before the Jailer took over lived life like Ikras did: enjoying their eternity in a bleak realm with little of value.
Of course the Jailer grabbed parts of other Death Realms and brought them into the Maw after being shoved into Torghast so before the Jailer there was just an endless fortress for the most vile of Souls to fight over.
Once the Jailer is gone there will be a desolate wasteland to fight over first with Torghast being the endless capital of their domain!
Since there are evil hostile Night Fae there(as well as few friendly Night Fae) it is not unlikely that Torghast and the Maw will gain flora once the Jailer and Sylvanas are dead.
My good friends Indigo and Penthia(whom I’ve seen getting captured by the Mawsworn on a daily basis) will probably help to grow flora within Torghast at the least. There is soil(made from trampled Souls but soil nonetheless) all over the tower you know so there is something for the Plants to grow on.
Torghast the Capital of the Maw will eventually look like a Cross between Barad-dûr(the Upper Reaches, Mort’regar and the Soulforges), Icecrown(Skoldus Halls, The Fracture Chambers and Coldheart Interstitia) and Ardenweald(everywhere except the Soulforges)!
Evildoers Paradise in otherwords. Revendreth will merely become a secret test of worthiness to go to the paradise of the Maw.
