Ignoring Sylvanas point makes you just seem willfully blind

No, he didn’t.

This thread is more about calling out the writers to address this hole… let us know what Sylvanas did to desrve the maw; saw it was a rogue Kyrian that did it or w/e but right now saying she just deserved the maw for no reason where other much worse individuals get to go to Mald or Revendreth is a joke.

But Afrasiabi is clear on that point: Sylvanas directly ordered Wrathgate.

No, he’s not. She did not order the Wrathgate attack. Just the Blight.

Funny thing is; even Wrathgate doesnt deserve the maw over trying to destroy the whole damn planet.

There’s no reason to mass-murder Azeroth citizens and manipulate everyone into killing each other in a war for her plans, there’s no sympathy for her…she’s evil.

There are 2 possibilities I can see for a satisfying ending:

  1. Sylvanas knows about the Jailer’s duplicitousness and is actually working against the Jailer to get him killed for doing what he did.
  2. Sylvanas agrees that the system is broken, but is just using the Jailer as a tool to an end, and plans on betraying him once the current order is overthrown.

Didn’t Sylvanas have her apothecaries forcefeed some innocent human girl with the Blight during its production to see what its effects were? It went into detail about it in the book.

Stick to denial but it’s been stated.

Except it hasn’t.

Kel’Thuzad poisioned entire villages and didnt go to the maw.

Sooo yeah that one incident clearly wouldnt have pushed her into maw territory.

Unfortunately satisfying for you, but not for others. They’ve written Sylvanas into a corner where they have given her too many polarizingly evil deeds that to ‘justify’ her in an arc would be outright insulting.

wah wah kerrigan kerrigan.

I’m just saying, you’re acting as if she was a saint prior to that but she wasn’t, lol. She was an idiot to think she could have a dreadlord as an advisor.

They’ve also written her into a corner where they’ve shown that she’s really had no other choice but to do what she’s done since WotLK.

In the interview during BlizzCon 2018, he noted: “I’ve heard these discussions on the internet about ‘she’s going off the rails,’ but is she? I’ve been writing Sylvanas personally since 2006, and this is pretty much — the Wrathgate and the Blight and the Forsaken — in character. Those were all under Sylvanas’ orders. What we’re seeing now is an escalation of the plans Sylvanas has, clearly, and we’re in the middle of that.”

And we all see how well that went, didn’t it?

Sylvanas engineered the Blight in the first place, but she wasn’t the one who deployed it

Ah yes, I wonder when one day I’ll have to make a choice to burn down a city filled with innocent families and civilians who are not part of the war whatsoever.

Was that the guy who allied with varimathras and alli had to raid undercity?
