Somehow I doubt this is the event that did it. Maybe to you it seems that way because it’s something you just did and it’s fresh in your mind. These investigations take time, and whatever you did, likely happened weeks ago.

Still would require me to RMT which I don’t do. I’ve done a couple gdkp’s but that was before the ban wave and I havnt done one since.

I would actually be very curious to see a proper investigation on this. They did mentioned that they were allegedly taking steps towards enforcing their RMT ToS, what if they messed this up by poorly programming some rando AI (cause this is basically all they will do about it until we pressure them enough to do more)?
Yep, and if you go to a prison and ask, every single person in there will tell you they are innocent.

Difference is I’m not going to prison. I got a two week ban for nothing and lost 200 gold for nothing. Complaining on here does nothing but warn people. Blizzard won’t change their mind.
I am skeptical. People do like to make up stuff.
On the other hand, Blizz has gutted customer support and tried to automate everything. Wouldn’t surprise me if the system worked…poorly.

Or how about this: they’ve probably been testing it already for months in a “listen only” or "report only"mode, and cross checking the results. Then they finally throw the switch and activate it now that they know it works.
What schematic or recipe is even in the universe of 300g atm

I honestly do not think that this is a valid point. We saw for example people being mass reported by bots when trying to fight them, and because Blizzard do not check the details, those people got suspended without fault, just trying to do good. Taking Blizzard support service accuracy for granted is a very bold assumption.
a lot of patterns go for that much.
For example, the scope in P2 is gnome only and a rare recipe. Goes for 700+ on my server

Got lucky fishing in Tanaris. Rare drop. Only gnomes with engineering can make and will be BIS for hunters. Not many engineers will have it because look at the drop chance.

This isnt real. The Ban on GDKP doesnt even take effect until Feb 8th.
