Please Blizz for the love of the Old Gods… Please! I beg you! Please take the yell off of the animation for when we use Ignore Pain! I gotta be completely honest… It’s really annoying and quite distracting to constantly be hearing my character yell every time I press Ignore Pain on my warriors that I play. Please. Please make it go away!

I’ve been complaining about this for years…
To further my point even more…
It’s not only that the Yelling part of the animation annoying, to be honest it’s very distracting.
Like I’m there tanking, throwing up my survival abilities and when I use Ignore Pain and that yelling sound comes up, it distracts me and makes me think that I got hit somehow rather than using the Ignore Pain ability itself.
To me it just doesn’t make any sense to constantly be yelling when using Ignore Pain. In any way.
Like yeah sure, you can yell, you’re a warrio. But yelling all the time is kinda weird tbh.
If you are a tank you are suppsed to be getting hit. What are you talking about? The yell animation and sound is there because the whole class fantasy is using your rage to shrug off pain. Man/Woman literally too angry to die.

ignore pain is a really stupid ability name for what it does, they should switch the commanding shout and ignore pain names and everything would make a million times more sense
Shouting out a variety of Arnold Schwarzenegger noises is literally what has kept this character as my main since TBC.

Okay i’m confused. This thread says it’s animation, but you’re talking about the voice accompanying it. 
I can be nitpicky but… i digress and will be honest, whenever i have my sound back on, if you’re talking about the human female yells… then yea i agree their honestly annoying.
Now i want an addon that does exactly that.

We warriors shout. It’s just what we do. We are always angry or worked up.
It’s about being so enraged that we don’t feel pain.

Imma be honest. Warriors are meant to yell a lot. I think it’s fine. You’re basically the barbarians of WoW. You’re meant to yell at people, for people, and during the most menial things.
“Oop I dropped my weapon quick. ARRRRRGH!!! Okay I have it back now.”

Just make a male draenei. There’s a ton of Arnie DNA in them. Their animations are inspired from Conan (2h and sneak especially), their spin-reload ranged attack animation is from Terminator 2.
And the sounds need no addons, they’re pretty clearly just imitating Arnie’s pained/confused sounds. I’m surprised it doesn’t get called out more.

I cannot hear any sounds including the death yell over my terrorcore music.

nah more like pain is your body warning there is structural damage
people that have disorders where they can’t feel pain have all sorts of serious issues
how a bout a compromise. give inscription a glyph that warriors can apply to ignore pain. “so you can ignore the yelling too” or “you now silently ignore the pain”
like fear is a good impulse too… fear is your body’s instincts kicking in and warning you of potential danger
