Does anyone have screenshots, video or any proof at all of IP value increasing as per the patch notes on 11.1 release? There’s some discussion in my guild as to whether it actually increased in value as described in the patch notes.
If so then maybe I’m confused about the initial cast value and subsequent cast value and how those two interact.
Ignore pain has definitely increased in value per cast, you can see this by comparing parses of tanks with usage before and after patch.
Note when comparing ensure they’re playing the same hero talent, if a Thane has Changed to Colossus on the tier patch or the other way around as Colossus takes a hero talent that improves the value of Ignore Pain by 20% per cast.
Something I’ve noticed playing around with how it shows the new stack count which is the % of how much of the cap you have present (1-100%) is if you’ve got an ignore pain active and you’re not taking damage but still building up your ignore pain shield through brutal vitality it will only update the % stack count value on an additional Ignore Pain being cast either with the keybind or through outburst. Which is definitely a little odd, and I don’t know if the same interaction happens if you’re actually taking damage as I would believe they would’ve just set the update condition to be taking damage or casting ignore pain as opposed to considering the amount built up by Brutal Vitality.

Im no master of tanking on this account. On my second account though, im hitting it less but the overall is almost the same per mob pull. I dont know if this was intended or the way its supposed to work now. I feel a MASSIVE change though in availability of rage though. Im not gonna say its clunky but its almost 50% slower, and to be honest, it feels aweful.

Oh wow, I didn’t know they updated it to include that information! That’s amazing!
I’ve been playing my monk this season so when I get around to this warrior it will be interesting.
