Ignore List

It’s about time our ignore list capacity was increased. With the ever increasing mergers happening, some people’s ignore list are at capacity or nearly there.

bro, why do you have 50 people on ignore. Surely you don’t run into all of those people on a daily basis. Let some of em go.

op there are add-ons with no caps

Nah. I agree with him. I don’t really ignore players. But I am a fan of allowing players to choose who they associate with (I often find this preferable to Blizzard policing peoples behavior).

^this.

How is it possible that someone is bothered by that many people that they have to put them on ignore? If anything we should remove the ignore list, people need to learn to deal with other people and stop letting everything bother them. Just stop paying attention to things you don’t agree with.

Lmao I don’t have anyone on my ignore list let alone 50?!?! Do you put everyone who sneezes on your list and keep them forever? Lol.

The longest I have ever kept anyone on ignore was probably like a day after this guy in a bg blamed the loss on me and was whispering me bad stuff on a char he made on my server to yell at me lol but I removed him the next day.

Someone made eye contact with me…that’s an ignore.
Standing next to me at the mailbox…ignore.
Stealing my N’zoth invasion mobs/items…ignore.
Ignoring me? You better believe that’s an ignore.

Some people actually do, it’s quite hilarious actually.

That isn’t a good idea at all. I am not going to have someone harass me because you feel like I should “deal” with them. The feature is there and some people are over the top at trolling or just down right being an offensive and disrespectful to people. There is no reason to have toxic people in someone’s life and it shouldn’t be forced not like it would ever be that way anyways.

Yeah same here, I don’t think I have anyone on my ignore list let alone 50. I couldn’t imagine that many people would do enough trolling to bother me.

it’s very easy to hit the ignore cap if you aren’t using global ignore list and want to ignore the boosters, gamblers, and foreign language spam, etc.

granted global ignore list+filters is better but the problem is that once you get a new computer you have to move your ignore list too which is annoying. Or worse, if you use multiple computers and need to synchronize the ignore lists somehow.

Pretty sure if you managed to get that many people on your ignore list, it ain’t people harassing you at that point but something about yourself that is causing that issue.

If you’re really that sensitive and need an echo chamber, I’m pretty sure the badboy add-on still lets you have limitless ignore lists.

I never stated I had that many on my ignore list nice assuming. Guess you didn’t bother to read who I was even responding to either. Nice try though.

Lmao

I put “Thunderfury” and “anal” on ignore back in WoD and haven’t looked back since

Yep, if I’m grumpy one morning and you say something dumb in chat that’s the end of you forever. I don’t check my ignore list, you’re just gone forever.

I’ve been at capacity since the Thunderfury came out.

You could probably purge your ignore list after 2 weeks or so. Very few people will go through the effort to constantly check if they’re on your ignore list. If they do, they just end up being permanently on the list.
