So apparently we have an ignore function under view activity on profiles. According to it we will not receive notification or see posts/topics by said ignored persons for the length of time we want to ignore them. I personally ignored all these fear mongering corona spam threads yet I still see the topics showing up on the latest discussion topics by ignored posters.

Go in to each thread and mute them, they won’t show up for you any more.
It’s archaic but they haven’t shown any inclination to bring back the actual ignore feature we used to have, so…

You can mute individuals in your account settings. All that does is keep you from getting notifications from them.
Muting individual threads will keep them off your front page, you won’t see them anymore.

There is (now? I swear this wasn’t here a short while ago) an ignore function on this forum actually.
I just tried ignoring Ulendur, and now he shows up as “view 1 hidden reply” until you click his post.
Curiously, the function has a 4 month max duration.
I don’t see it. Is it possible that you need to be level 3 user to ignore others?
I’m not level 3. I don’t throw out anywhere near the amount of likes required for that. (Level 2 perhaps might be a consideration though.)
How exactly do you get to it? I went to view activity and I don’t see anything.
Above view profile click normal. It has a drop down.

Users (menu option on the left)
… Should be a small section that shows up for both ignore and muted.

Interesting. Would have been nice if they had made a sticky post about the change. Who knows how long it has been there.
This ofc will only work if the person has not hidden his/her activity. As usual they’ve made this more of a pain to do since there’s no drop down next to a person’s post anymore.
For those not seeing it you need to click on person’s name, then click on “View Activity” button. On right side of page you will see a box that says “Normal”. Click on this box and you will see options to Mute or Ignore the person.

I have 3 options, one will allow no notifications and the other will also hide their responses. Probably a WIP as someone else said.
i see the options as well… except of course when the player in question has their character profile hidden… then i don’t.
