“Midnight is already in development”
This is par for the course even under normal 2-year xpack conditions (only saying that since a lot of people are assuming 1-year xpacks for this saga). Blizzard told us how they develop expansions ages ago. They’re always working on the next xpack that early.
I’m sure they allocate more resources to it as it gets closer, but still.

They’re developing them all in tandem. So yeah, they’ve got this thing planned out and they’ll have Midnight done and then start on Last Titan. Kind of like they do with movies nowadays.

I think 3 xpacks ahead is more than normal, but midnight being in development isn’t surprising, as that’s essentially 2 xpacks out.

I’ve read from Blizzard that they have 2 teams years ago. The next expansion is basically set when the current one releases.
Yet, people say that it’s rushed 3.5 years into the development process.
