If you're willing to extend hide armor for all slots except pants

I don’t know what they plan to do about restrictions but it probably won’t be soon. I just dropped a ticket yesterday

I wish that you could pick up mogs regardless of class restriction. I am not saying that I want a two handed weapon on my Rogue. I am saying that if you happen to get a two handed mog while on a class that can’t use a 2H, you can still pick up the mog appearance to be used at a later date on an appropriate toon.
I won one of those BMAH caches and when I opened it I received Sun-Lute of the Phoenix King which is awesome but it is on my Rogue so I obviously can’t use it but I also can’t pick up the mog for my other toons that are 2H. It sucks so badly to get something amazing and have it be so completely useless.

Unfortunately, this is a question where the only answer that we can give is a no. If we were to bypass those restrictions in the transmog system, or bypass the restrictions in the loot binding system, and either just unlock that appearance, or allow that item to be moved to another one of your characters, that would be bypassing the intended limitations of the game, and essentially overriding our developer’s decisions regarding how loot and transmog works.
Since it is not the role of Customer Support to override our developers, we unfortunately are not able to assist with this request.

I am not surprised or actually upset becuase I fully expected this to be the outcome. The CS was nice. Maybe things will change down the road but I sure as heck am not going to bother holding my breath.
