I think there’s nothing cooler than being a lone wolf, except at wolf picnics when you don’t have a partner for the wolf wheel barrow race.
It’s funny to see these reserve runs looking for players as I’m joining another group then seeing the same reserve run still looking for players after I get back from finishing BFD with said group
Those of us running reserve runs that are smart will just curate the group such that there’s no competition for us on that item anyway. “Whats that? I’m the only mail wearer in this group? How strange! Oh the epic 2h dropped, and I’m the only one who can use it? Damn, how lucky!”

As a rule,I don’t join them, even if it’s for an item I don’t need. My favorite though is when DPS is reserving an item tanks or healers also need while LFM for said tank/healer…

Actually, it said judge not if that same judgement can’t be turned back on you. Basically, don’t be a hypocrite. The Bible says to judge everything. It even has a book called Judges.

On a positive note, my guild came up with some good loot rules that involves reserving (in a full guild run).
We use a 2 soft reserve system. Select 2 items before the raid starts. You soft reserve them. That means you only /roll against people who also soft reserved the same item. People who don’t SR an item can’t /roll on an item someone else SR’d.
If an item dropped that nobody SR’d, its just regular MS>OS rolls.
Why? I don’t understand this line of thinking…

I HR’d the Hydra blade, and as if by divine intervention, it dropped for me, and I made a warrior friend for life somehow. I got one guy like you messaging me calling me cringe while forming. Ultimately, making a group is easy, and people voluntarily sign-up with the ruleset of the pug. So instead of being upset, make your own group.
