I’ll gladly share and let everyone take a cut, but it sure ain’t gonna be funneled because “I use mana and they’re expensive and I don’t want to go farm felwood so you should let me take all of them and just trust me that I won’t sell them and go farm the felwood ones after :)”. Believe it or not, people lie online. The only “fair” way to do these items is RR. You specifically want people to pass on an item they can sell, specifically so you can have a higher chance of winning it.

Why do you want to win it? So you don’t have to buy it or farm it. You want it for just as selfish of a reason as anyone else. It’s not like it’s the only place you can get it, and only you and a select few can use it. There are also future crafting that needs them as well, but I guess I shouldn’t want to have a cheaper .5 set because the ELEMENTAL SHAMAN WANTS IT SO HE DOESN’T HAVE TO GO FARM FELWOOD.

Breastplate of Chromatic Flight doesn’t use dark runes, I think you have it confused with the D2 questline. Like I mentioned above though, if you need them for use it’s fine that includes as a crafting material. Putting them on the AH is a jerk move.

When I do scholo I clarify or ask, depending on if it’s my group or not:
how we handle dark runes
how we handle skin of shadow
how we handle scourgestones
patterns are always need if you’ll learn it, greed if you won’t.

Perhaps instead of farming dark runes you should farm demonic runes, do DM-E and since they are BOP, nobody but the healers will usually even want them, since most casters will have better options. Now obviously if you’re on the Anniversary servers you will need to wait a week for this. The place is great for herbalists and miners as well.

The problem with dark runes is that they are a commodity not only used as a consumable but as a crafting and quest item.
