Why don’t we have the new mage tower mount already?
We should have had something for that accomplishment back in Legion.
Because the challenges are different now. More difficult.

You didn’t provide money for the Mage Tower with a Series A funding round. You won a carnival game.
I won a stuff tiger back in 1992 at Ryan’s Family Amusement. They don’t send me a new tiger every year.

Nope. You just need to complete each of the challenges once, with any combination of classes.
And because the Legion tower was available for ~1.5 years.
What was done back then isn’t what is being done now. What players are doing now is a bit of a circus 
New mage tower is perma, what happens 1.5 years from now?
You only have to complete 7 challenges to get the mount not 36?

I have 36/36 from Legion. We shouldn’t just “get” the mount.
A feat of strength back then would have been nice, but that ship has sailed.
I’m 36/36 and I feel like this is kind of a silly take. It’s a remix of old challenges, but with new rewards, and new goals. As someone who did all 36, I was excited to have a reason to go back in and do it again. Just getting the book vomited at me with no work would have been boring. And I say that as someone who has his book.

Correct. I believe there’s an achievement for doing all 36, but it doesn’t reward anything. It’s just a flex.

And no, the current Mage Tower is way overtuned and harder than Legion. I beat the ones I wanted except Guardian (ran out of Nethershards + Didnt have Thrash Legendary) in Legion, but I can barely dent those current ones.

No there is no achievement we got nothing for that.
Completing all 36 mage towers wasn’t really that bad. I just geared alts in Antorus LFR gear and got some decent legos. Most challenges took less than 10 attempts for me, some I even one-shot. They became very formulaic after the first clear (except the healing challenge, that thing can go die in a fire).
I haven’t gotten to try out the new mage towers yet, but they sound like they’re actually hard. Apart from future class changes having impacts on various mechanics, I don’t see these challenges being cheesed.
You didn’t get the weapons? I’d put in a ticket.
But when you see somebody with that mount you know that achievement has been completed.
We should have a mount that represents 36/36 achievement.
I thought I read an article last year or a year and a half ago about giving an achievement or something to do with the original Ruins of Ahn’Qiraj.
We got the skins we just didn’t get an achievement for 36/36.
So a retroactive title or feat of strength? I mean, I guess?
It doesn’t matter to me. For the same reason I’m not a fan of FOMO rewards.
I don’t tie my accomplishments/satisfaction to what I can flaunt in front of others.
