The Frostmourne contained Arthas’ soul. He also had his helmet removed. All he would have had left was his own DK powers. His wounds seemed to finish him though.

Is not like none of those things have been show to begin with and that all her character development has been completely off-screen which makes her stupid, unbelievable and straight up insulting with how she defeated The Lich King and his army without a scratch

Let’s see, he survived the Forsaken Blight attack that was launched at the Wrathgate after being charred by the cleansing flames of the red dragonflight. Taken to ICC and tortured by the Lich King, and took on the task of being the Jailer of the Damned.
His sole goal was to contain the scourge.

Poor Bolvar… Poor,poor, BOLVAR!
It’s almost as if im bored and have nothing better to do i could solo 1m hp Saurfang as a wq boss and if i have nothing better to do for 2-3 hours solo 160M Sylvanas in undercity to death. Does that mean all players who could do so better would be 200x stronger than Bolvar and all lore characters?

I’ll bite. Bolvar isn’t the Lich King. He’s basically a DK. I hope a horde or alliance leader could win a duel against a regular DK.
It was a combination of three things: his armor, helm and Frostmourne. The sword was definitely the biggest piece but it says in Arthas: Rise of the Lich King that Ner’zhul’s spirit was shackled to all three.
So Bolvar only had 1/3 of the Lich King’s arsenal.
Sylvanas was never weak.
Sylvanas did 1v1 Arthas in warcraft III, Sylvanas toying with her prey allowed the lich Kel’Thuzad to arrive in time to save him. Sylvanas has always been one of the most powerful entities in Azeroth, this is from way back in the Warcraft III days.

Dont know how people come to the conclusion that he was pathetic. He kept the scrouge army under control.
And now for the sake of turning sylvanaas into a mary sue we are the ones who are going to have to deal with that army, just so Sylvannas can pursue her own selfish agenda.
Whats pathetic is that is that super mary sue was brought in just to make it happen. Such shallow writing.
Also, can someone tell me how releasing the scrouge army on Azeroth is saving us?

Comparatively she was never nearly as strong as the strongest lore characters, now she’s way stronger, for no on screen reason. That was my point.
You losers have been crying for her to be a raid boss since cata and it never happens. Time to accept that it never will.

Dude sylvannas wasn’t “powerful” in warcraft 3. She got destroyed and straight up disrespected by arthas lol
The battle was also easily won btw. Yeah campaign made it seem challenging - but story wise (even in the comic cinematic) arthas rolled her. She was literally just a gnat thst wouldn’t leave him alone lmao
That does happen rather often for many characters. They get the Toriyama power up out of nowhere for the purpose of puhing the plot.
Either way, people should not be surprised. Its been 10 years since WotLK, and even before that, during WC3 she was seeking ways to accumulate power for her own goal. Being raised as a banshee turned Sylvanas who was already a selfish and self driven character even more so.
When the sylvannas days are over you all will miss her and be complaining about some other character in the game.
Don’t wish our time with sylvannas away too fast.
Loved and feared doesn’t make him all powerful.
Lich king isn’t even that strong compared to many many beings and characters in the WoW universe.
Sylvanas is allowed to grow in power just like any number of other characters have over the years.
Jaina has grown to be equally powerful but no one says a thing

Actually in Wrath she felt she could. She was shocked at how much stronger he had become in the Halls of Reflection vs. previously in the xpac. I am kind of surprised that people keep forgetting about this. Arthas had a massive offscreen and unexplained power increase in WotLK and nobody seemed to care…
