Goblin because then I’d have semi-modern technology, and more importantly have a racial story that Blizzards awful writers don’t seem to care about and thus they haven’t really ruined.
Galywix WAS in BfA but only just to be there really, nothing really happened, Umdermine didn’t get burned down, and since the god of goblins is just money, money didn’t turn out to be secretly a robot who was being used in the jailors super amazing master plan, etc, etc.

Imagine being a Vulpera to fight and win against your oppressors and then… go to the shadowlands… literally a fate worse than death in our world imo.

Trolls are my ideal form. I think they are the most visually interesting and cool and the most physically attractive. The moment I saw the Jungle Trolls I thought they were so cool. They are so tall and cool and I just think being a Troll would be great.

Honestly, just a regular human

all the other races have too many major flaws.

Elves have crippling mana additions “b-b-but night elves don’t!” sure, that’s why you have moon wells everywhere right?

furred races would be incredibly stinky

orcs are too musclebound and aggressive - not to mention their living conditions

undead are literally rotting corpses

draenei and tauren have hooves which just don’t sound comfortable

and then there’s the short races.
