Boosting adverts in global channels would be banned.
Month long quests like Scarab Lord would be mandatory for every patch. LFR would be deleted. The world needs more growth instead of the 2 minute cutscenes that end with a cliffhanger without ever answering any questions. We spend way too long between patches with no real change to the story, this isn’t how it should be.
Mythic keys would only go up to 5, but every key would be significantly harder with unique mechanics for each level. Changing the health of a boss and the defenses isn’t a challenge, it’s bad game design.
Torghast content would be carried forward and implemented into raiding so that raiding is fun. Too long have we stuck to the same broken record. The fights are cool but when 18 people can’t figure out a fight, it turns into how much time people are willing to invest.
The auction house wouldn’t allow people to undercutting and posting limits would be removed. You wouldn’t need to relist auctions every 48 hours and mail wouldn’t expire after 30 days. The price history of items would be an internal system instead of hosted on the undermine journal so that you could list items accordingly.
Fomo would be removed from the game. Challenges like the Mage Tower wouldn’t be limited and more modes would be added to them with new rewards. More old raids would scale up to the current difficulties so people can experience the fights if they want to. Honestly, Chromie Time is the biggest let down because of how under utilized it is. We could have the removed raids added back in and scaled up. The time before the Cataclysm that removed hundreds of items from the game could be reversed. Most importantly, it could be an excuse to remodel a lot of the dated areas in the game.
Here’s hoping that with the increase of devs hired on, a lot of these things change.
I would guarantee that every class had a minimum of 3 engineers working on them per expansion and at least 1 engineer per patch cycle. It honestly feels like we have substatially less engineers on the class dev team and its really where the bulk of the problems with this game lies.
So the price would only rise and nobody would ever be able to lower it. That sounds horrible. Trolls would boost all mats to 10K the first day and since no one could undercut…you can see where this is going.
Id force a separate chat channel for that. I dont mind it going on…but ads in the regular chat box would be prohibited.
Id restore pretty much all the old content theyve removed.
Id fix that stinking ‘in combat’ bug or at the very least provide a toy with a 30 minute CD that removes any player from combat to deal with it.
I’d put that frikking Loot-a-rang back down to being USABLE when you can make it instead of this idiotic way they have it now.
AH…TWO auction cancels per daily reset. Wont fix the problem but it’ll make it more annoying to do what they do. NO more cancelling every 18 seconds. If you cant keep from making more than two listing mistakes a day, you shouldnt be using the AH in the first place. Ive made ONE in 5 years of playing the game, lol.
PvP would use one combat system, PvE another. Trying to balance both to work together is asinine. its two entirely different game styles and each needs its own math.
FAR more solo content…mostly stuff like lots more questlines. Tons more things to farm and find…mogs, treasures, etc.
I’d allow druids in their moth travel form to “sit” vertically on walls of buildings, trees, and under torchlights at night, just like they do in the wilds
(there’s moths that behave this way in Korthia & Azeroth, so I know it can be done)
