Are you guys trying to push people to buying gold in what will be a seasonal run to AQ because you refuse to put pvp gear on par with AQ.
It will die at AQ meaning a shorter classic. Dual spec costing 50g is absolutely horrible.

You’re kidding right? this is practically giving it away for free. You hardly need dual spec leveling up, and this is about the cost of respeccing twice.

That is LITERALLY what people do.
Blizz makes some asine decision like making Dual spec which is just a QOL change an absurd amount for a majority of the population so they buy gold.
Blizz knows exactly what they’re doing.
I would have made Dual Spec 500G.

50g is like nothing… I’ve been just selling the random boe greens I have from questing and have 35g at level 33.

50g is a very reasonable price for dual spec, I think it’s priced right.
Most should be able to have this before level 40 if you’re only training the necessary skills and are willing to dip into your 60% mount fund.

50g for a permanent upgrade to your character feels more than fair. Speaking for myself personally, the biggest issue with respeccing was I only respeccing to farm gold, making it essentially worthless to me. Saving up one time to get a second spec when I had to pay a 100g weekly is a huge improvement.
Making it free wouldn’t feel right. You have to pay for spells, mounts etc. for a reason. Finding ways to make gold to afford those upgrades is a big part of the game. You need to give players goals to work towards, what you do to get to the reward is where you should be having fun!
Besides, while I do feel the game is much better off with dual spec, it was a gold sink for some players so this feels like a fair compromise that will at least remove some gold from the economy.
And I really don’t see how this could encourage more gold buying. If someone needs to buy gold for 50g, wouldn’t they have already done so to get their mount and all their spells?

I guess if you no life wow that 50g is fairly easy. LOTS of people that buy gold would never admit to it though. Don’t trust anyone here.
