Its now years later. Many of these have died in combat. this army is increasingly now poor soldiers who died and got turned. Some not even from lordaeron. Lead by a former high elf now banshee who could give not 2 craps about lordaeron and the human undead’s claim to it.
And with the post scourge “recruits” we get the interesting dilemma. Is true death a release and we are doing them a favor? they didn’t sign up for this gig, were forced into and have a little voice in their head that says obey the dark lady.
If me…I’d not hate the guy the killed me as forsaken. The living me would say screw that, it isn’t an (un)life worth living. thanks for the release.

(Point is I like her character she feels very real and mostly honest about her acitons even if they are immoral and wrong… At least she doesent hide the truth)
The best 2 written characters in Wow currently are her and Jaina.
I’m sticking around to see if we kill Sylvanas. If we do, I’ll stay. The minute they announce a Kerrigan redeption arc I’m gone.
I dunno if anyone has said it or not but I think she’ll be key to fighting the void. Void fears undeath and since Sylvanas and her forsaken are undead, I think they and other powerful undead forces like the Lich King, Bwonswombi/his “boss” and possibly other powerful death figures will be grouped together to fight the void.

She is so honest!!! And Death is a mercy!!! especially in a medival world where people suffer greatly on a regular basis.
And face mass extinction on regular basis from a legion from outer space with advanced technology and magic.
Then I hope you enjoy World of Hordecraft as the imbalance continues. I will not pay money for such horrible story-telling and be treated with contempt by the company.
There comes a point in a story when a character, no matter what you do with them, will piss off a large chunk of players or readers.
Removing her from her position as Warchief will piss off a lot of people.
Killing her will piss off a lot of people.
Not punishing her will piss off a lot of people.
Blizzard wrote themselves into a corner with how they developed her. Anything they do is going to upset a metric ton of people.

I would not object if she simply steps down and the horde forms a war council.
Seems like the writers think that only thrall can lead the horde anyway and he is busy with family and balancing the elements or whatever.

Well, I’d say good luck, but like I said the writing is already on the wall. The people writing the story are Forsaken fans and one absolutely thinks Sylvanas is his waifu. Sylvanas isn’t going anywhere.
The best you can hope for is that the BFA ending cinematic doesn’t include NE’s as part of the crowd cheering for her after her “Azeroth is FREE!” moment. I wouldn’t even hold my breath for that either though.
