Knowing what you currently know about World of Warcraft, if you were to start today without an existing account, and you decided to focus on a single class, which class would that be, and why?

Marksman hunter, best all around solo game play and multi player play experience. Very self sufficient and fun to play. Good movement / mobility. Lots of good utility especially if night elf.

Mage or rogue

Master rmp and nothing else

Probably rogue over mage though and become a base god in rbgs

Probably Druid. I started a Paladin back in the day because of the archetype, plate armor, survivability, and massive sword.

I rolled a Druid alt some time later and the shape shifting, sneaky cat form, great healing as Resto, etc really made me wish I had started as a Druid.

You know what is keeping me from switching to a Druid main? Reputations. I have so many maxed out reps on my Paladin, and if they ever make all in of the old reps account wide, then yeah, I’d probably go Druid full time.

Hey Blizzard, you’re already stealing from GW2 with Dragon Flying, so please go ahead and steal account wide reps and currency from them also please! It’s not individual characters earning all of this stuff; it’s me, human doing all of this on my account, so why can’t you make my reps and currencies account wide also?

If I started an account I would go for range like mage (arcane or frost) for the simplicity of it all and Marksmanship hunter for the simplicity too.

Knowing what I know today? Well then it would just be my current favourite - ret paladin.

But more realistically, I wouldn’t start it again today. I wouldn’t start any MMO again. I love WoW to bits, but I’ve put almost two decades into it. No way in hell I’d start from scratch with that kind of potential commitment again.

If I had to, aka someone was forcing me to, I’d probably roll a priest.

If it was just “hey, would you do this?”, then nah. I’ve been having fun with my Switch playing Mario and Kirby while I took a break from WoW. I only came back because they’re pushing dragons for the next expac.

IF I were considering stating to play WOW today, knowing what I know ‘just about Pathfinder’ and anything similar to it. 
 I would not bother.

A Hunter because no matter the game, I always tend to prefer the Archery type builds or Classes.

I like my male human paladin. I feel I can relate to the race and class well. knowing what I know - or let’s say if my account got lost, compromised or deleted - I’d do the same.

None. If I started today, I’d look at all the things I could never obtain and I’d quit before I got started.

That’s why I won’t give Final Fantasy XIV a try. I’m simply too far behind.
