I have never had anyone call me a bot. If anything, people thank me for the mount or ask me to wait.
One time while questing in Bation when SL had just come out, someone said I didn’t need to flex, but other than that nothing negative has happened when I whip out my long boi.

I spent like 8 months grinding out gold to buy the long boi. No tokens, no bots, no exploits. Just farming endlessly for months on end. I’ve never recovered, gold-wise.

That’s cruel. I didn’t spend months grinding out gold for the sake of gold. I did it because I wanted a sauropod mount with an auction house. I would never have done all of that boring farming just for the gold. Don’t punish others for your jealousy. They implemented an auction house in Valdrakken; there’s no need for all of this vitriol.
you should care more about your time. im spending 2m gold a week and making it all back + more. no grinding required.
I didn’t have 2 million gold to start with, you know? And I’m on a super high pop server, without a lot of familiarity on how to make the auction house work for me.
I just wanted to point out to them that not all of us with the long boi “cheated”. I really wanted it, so I put the time into getting the gold for it. I’ve never been rude with my mount (I used to afk in Oribos next to the mailbox for people, and even stayed up to 30 min past when I got back to the keyboard if people were still using it).
the trick to making gold on illidan is to not play on illidan. ive been buying the new patterns from pvp and reselling them for 400k each on low pop servers. ive made about 5m just from patterns since the patch. you could hop on this, too. gold transfer are very cheap if you use the wow market discord.

On the other hand, if you chew them out for using the AH NPC on it while you’re sitting on the mailbox, you deserve it lol.
